Blue Star Challenge!

With the start of March, we wanted to announce the kick off of this year’s Blue Star Challenge!

The Blue Star means something special to everyone who sees it, wears it, writes about it or even has a tattoo of it. For most it represents the eternal memory of the people whose lives have been lost to colorectal cancer and the shining hope for a future free of the disease.

The National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable (NCCRT) is challenging organizations and individuals to use the Blue Star in educational, inspirational and creative ways.

For more details and criteria for Challenge submissions please check out the Blue Star Challenge link on the page below:

Think you’re ready to apply?

It’s easy!  Email a short description of your activity, along with any pictures to nccrt@cancer.org by April 30th, 2013 — visit the link above for all the details.

Selected entries will be invited to present at this year’s National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable’s annual meeting, and one entry will have their airfare and travel costs covered to the meeting.

You may also email nccrt@cancer.org with any questions.

Together we can shine a light on initiatives and events making an impact while showcasing the Blue Star.
