CDC releases new CRC publications
- A one-pager, Colorectal Cancer: Quick Facts, that describes key findings and trends in the 2016 Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) colorectal cancer screening data.
- A two-pager that summarizes grantees’ progress and lessons learned from the first year of the CDC’s current Colorectal Cancer Control Program.
- A new publication that identifies counties in the U.S. with dramatically low colorectal cancer screening use. Authors included Zahava Berkowitz, Tom Richards, Marion Nadel, and Lucy Peipins. The article was featured in a press release and a map from this article was selected as the cover for the March issue of journal – Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers and Prevention.
