National Health Center Week (August 9th – August 15th)

In celebration of National Health Center Week (August 9th to the 15th, 2015), the National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable (NCCRT) would like to thank all our friends and colleagues who work in community health centers to promote equal access to cancer screening and follow-up care.  As many of you know, the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) was one of the first supporters of the 80% by 2018 goal and has been a committed partner in the effort.  You may not know that the 80% by 2018 goal was originally proposed by Dr. James Hotz, the NACHC representative to the NCCRT, who felt that both the NCCRT and NACHC were ready for a bold and audacious goal to reduce the burden of colon cancer in this country.
