Anne Carlson brings more than twenty years of experience in fundraising and business development to her roll with the National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable. As executive director of the Colon Cancer Coalition, she has helped facilitate the creation of screening programs in at-risk communities across the country. Most recently, Anne serves on the steering committee for the Minnesota Cancer Alliance, and was instrumental in creating a comprehensive state cancer plan that is actively being implemented to reduce the cancer burden in Minnesota. She has worked around the country with state colorectal cancer roundtables, and is actively engaged in preventing this disease at the local level. She firmly believes that every clinic, hospital, or health care system is vital in bringing the national screening rate up to 80 percent and saving lives.
