Michelle Tropper is the Division Director, Strategic Health Initiatives for the American Cancer Society, Eastern Division, encompassing New Jersey and New York. She recently worked with the New York and New Jersey Academies of Family Physicians on a physician education initiative, including live CME and an online training module to increase colorectal cancer screenings in primary care practices. Ms. Tropper represents the American Cancer Society, Eastern Division, on the Governor’s Task force for cancer prevention, detection and treatment in New Jersey. She also serves as chairperson for the state’s Colorectal Cancer Workgroup of the state’s Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan and was the co-chair for the NJ Dialogue for Action in 2007. She is currently serving a second term on the Steering Committee for the National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable.
Ms. Tropper earned her bachelors degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton and her Masters in Public Health from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey School of Public Health.
