Celebrating The Life Of Erica Hoffman, Singer-Songwriter, Vocal Coach And Colorectal Cancer Screening Advocate

Singer-songwriter, vocal coach, and colorectal cancer screening advocate Erica Hoffman, 37, who spoke of her experience with colon cancer at our March 80% in Every Community launch has passed away after her battle with cancer.

On March 7, during National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, Erica shared how she became inspired to tell her story and become an advocate. She spoke passionately and fondly of the support she received in her advocacy from her family, friends, and colleagues. Vocal coach Mama Jan (Jan Smith Studios) and singer/songwriter Erin Kirby joined her on stage, and performed a touching original song dedication for cancer survivors like their friend and colleague, Erica.

We will always remember Erica for her inspiration and her encouragement for others with a colon cancer diagnosis to share their stories. Please join us in expressing our sincere condolences to Erica’s family. Learn more about Erica in this obituary and Sweet Relief Musicians Fund page.
