Celebrating the Life of Tania Harris, Colorectal Cancer Screening Advocate

Tania Harris, wife and mother of three children, who spoke of her experience with colon cancer at our March 80% in Every Community launch has passed away after her battle with cancer at the age of 47.

During National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, Tania, who served as Executive Assistant to Romaine Seguin, UPS President of Global Freight Forwarding, shared how she was diagnosed with colon cancer following a routine visit with her primary care provider in 2013 at the age of 41. Romaine shared about how UPS and her “work family” rallied to support her, and talked about how UPS is working to promote screening among employees.

We will always remember Tania for so bravely and honestly sharing her story. Please join us in expressing our sincere condolences to Tania’s family. Learn more about Tania in this obituary, where you can also share your remembrances.
