Dear NCCRT Members:

Please save the following dates for a three part Evaluation 101 Training series:  How to evaluate activities intended to increase awareness and use of colorectal cancer screening

Date and Time:

Monday June 23rd  — 2:00 – 3:15pm EST

Thursday, July 10th  — 2:00 – 3:15pm EST

Wednesday September 3rd – 2:00pm – 3:15pm EST

Description of Event: This three-part webinar series is intended to walk participants through the evaluation process in a step by step, interactive fashion, using the seven evaluation steps laid out in the National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable’s Evaluation toolkit.  The series will walk participants through: Designing and mapping your program; prioritizing what you need to know; designing your evaluation; creating tools for gathering information; collecting the information; sorting and analyzing the information; and using and sharing the information.  While the training explains evaluation by considering how one would evaluate three sample colorectal cancer screening education and outreach programs, it can serve as a good program evaluation tool for programs beyond just those focused on colorectal cancer screening.  The evaluation toolkit can be reached here

Audience: This training is specifically geared to assist those who have little to no evaluation experience, but do have a willingness to learn.  It is open to NCCCP grantees, CDC CRCCP grantees, NCCRT members and ACS staff.
