Dionne S. Christopher, PMP, is the Director of Prevention at the Colorectal Cancer Alliance (Alliance), the leading national nonprofit dedicated to ending colorectal cancer in our lifetime. With over 20 years of experience in cancer prevention and public health, Dionne leads national efforts to increase screening, improve health education, and advocate for underserved communities.
In her role, she works closely with internal teams, healthcare providers, community organizations, and policymakers to implement evidence-based programs that promote early detection and reduce health disparities. Her leadership plays a key role in advancing the Alliance’s mission to save lives through prevention.
Before stepping into this position, Dionne served as the Alliance’s Senior Program Manager for Screening and Prevention, where she launched impactful initiatives and built strategic partnerships that expanded access to screening. Previously, she spent more than a decade at the American Cancer Society, managing projects for both the National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable and the National Lung Cancer Roundtable. In these roles, she developed national tools and brought together key stakeholders to drive progress in cancer prevention.
Dionne is also active in her local community, having served on several advisory boards in the Atlanta area. Her background in program management, community engagement, and partnership development gives her deep insight into the challenges and opportunities of promoting health equity.
Dionne holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from Saint Leo University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
