2024 ACS NCCRT Annual Meeting Early Bird Rate Ends on September 16th 

Newly Updated Working Agenda is Available  

We hope you plan on joining us at the 2024 ACS NCCRT Annual Meeting, which will take place November 20th to 22nd in Fort Worth, TX. Reminder invitations were sent this morning so check your inbox (or spam filter) for the link to register! Early bird registration ends on Monday, September 16th and increases from $300 to $350 until October 16th.  

Each year, member organizations and corporate associates typically send one or two member representatives to the meeting, but we can accommodate up to four representatives to attend. Please email [email protected] if you’d like to confirm the names we have on our roster or to notify us if your member representatives have changed.

American Cancer Society Launches Prostate Cancer Roundtable 

Roundtable Model Used to Address Prostate Cancer Continuum and Disparities 

In early September, the American Cancer Society (ACS) announced the launch of the National Prostate Cancer Roundtable (NPCRT) to address the alarming rise in prostate cancer diagnoses. The roundtable will convene multi-sector organizations and diverse communities to advance national priorities, promote evidence-based strategies and catalyze policy and patient care solutions.   • This past June, the ACS NCCRT hosted a CRC Cross-Continuum Strategy Summit and Steering Committee retreat to engage in dialogue around understanding and characterizing CRC-related mortality and mortality-aligning disparities. Learn more about these meetings and outcomes in our latest blog post.   
  • A recording is available for the final webinar in the ACS’s summer webinar series focused on cancer care across the continuum and coalitions, titled, Promoting Non-Invasive CRC Screening (in partnership with the ACS NCCRT) held on August 14th. View the recording here.  
  • Fight Colorectal Cancer’s 2025-2026 Catalyst Grant applications are now open! Visit the grant website to view criteria and submit the application with accompanying materials no later than 11:59pm CST on Friday, September 20th. For any questions, please reach out to [email protected]
  • Registration is open through September 16 for the Western Colorectal Cancer Consortium taking place in Davis, CA from September 26-27, 2024. To access the complete agenda (schedule) and sponsorship opportunities, visit the conference website
  • In recognition of World Metastatic Colorectal Cancer Day, New York City’s Citywide Colorectal Cancer Control Coalition’s (C5’s) Risk Assessment and Screening Committee is hosting a webinar targeted at health care clinicians to help them better understand the colorectal cancer screening and referral process. Dr. Steven Itzkowitz, ACS NCCRT chair, will be among the expert presenters. ACS NCCRT members and partners from outside New York City are welcome to join. Register for the webinar being held on September 27, 2024 from 12-1 PM ET.
