Reporting and Data System
The Quality Assurance Task Group embarked on an effort to put standardized quality measures in place around colorectal cancer to minimize variation and improve performance.
The goal was to identify evidence- and consensus-based standards (targets) for the performance of high quality colonoscopy.
The report addresses standardized reporting language around issues, such as withdrawal time, reaching the cecum and adverse affects.
