National Press Club 80% by 2018 Colorectal Cancer Screening Initiative Launch

Press conference announcing the launch of a joint effort between the National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable, the American Cancer Society, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health to reach 80% colorectal cancer screening rates by 2018.

Leaders from an array of disciplines will share new data that makes the case for a coordinated push around colorectal screening in order to eliminate colorectal cancer as a major public health problem.

The event will be held from 1:00pm – 2:30pm at National Press Club, 529 14th Street NW, Washington, DC 20045.  A light lunch will be available at 12:30pm.  Travel is the responsibility of attendees.
