2025 Supreme Court Case Update: How Kennedy v. Braidwood Management Could Affect Insurance Coverage for CRC Screening
This Blue Star Conversation was held on Wednesday, July 9, from 1:00-2:00 PM ET and titled “2025 Supreme Court Case Update: How Braidwood v. Kennedy Could Affect Insurance Coverage for Colorectal Cancer (CRC) Screening.” The program featured a non-partisan panel discussion of policy experts who discussed the implications of the Kennedy v. Braidwood Management Supreme Court decision. Oral arguments for the case were heard in Spring of 2025 and examined the authority of the United States Preventative Services Task Force (USPSTF) to set provisions for most privately insured (and those covered by Medicaid expansion) people to receive preventative care without cost-sharing, including CRC screening. After the presentation and panel discussion, participants had opportunity to ask questions.
