New Funding Opportunity from Stand Up To Cancer – SU2C Colorectal Cancer Health Equity Community Engagement Grant
Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) invites applications for the SU2C Colorectal Cancer Health Equity Community Engagement Grant. The grant supports grassroots level engagement to increase colorectal cancer screening rates to 80% among minority and traditionally underrepresented populations. Two-year grants ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 will be given to organizations located in the communities where the SU2C Colorectal Cancer Dream Team members are conducting their research – the greater areas of (1) Los Angeles, California, (2) Boston, Massachusetts and (3) the Great Plains Tribal Communities in South Dakota. In doing so, community engagement grant recipients support the goal of the Dream Team to create “SU2C Zones”. SU2C is particularly interested in community engagement strategies and practices that can be replicated and sustained.
