This webinar highlights the ACS NCCRT’s latest resource, Increasing Colorectal Cancer Screening in Rural Communities: A Practical Guide. This best practice guidebook is designed to support key community partners in understanding and overcoming the unique challenges and common barriers to CRC screening faced in rural communities. The webinar took place on Monday, July 28th from 3:00-4:00 PM ET and covered an overview of recent data and statistics that illustrate the burden of CRC in rural areas, an outline of the five recommended steps to increase CRC screening rates in rural communities, and a deep dive into best practices and lessons learned from two of our five exemplary case study site interviewees.
