Task Group Charge

The charge of the Family History & Early Onset CRC Task Group is to identify key issues and areas of need around familial colorectal cancer and early onset colorectal cancer for the purpose of identifying opportunities for the NCCRT to be a catalyst for change.

Dennis Ahnen, MD

NCCRT Steering Committee Adjunct Member and Family History & Early Onset CRC Task Group Co-Chair

Dr. Ahnen completed his Medical School Training at Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan and completed a Medical Residency and Chief Residency at Hutzel Hospital in Detroit before going to the University of Colorado as a Fellow in Gastroenterology in 1977.

Paul Schroy, MD, MPH

Family History Early Onset Task Group Co-Chair

Dr. Schroy is a graduate of Haverford College, Jefferson Medical School and the Boston University School of Public Health. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the North Shore University Hospital (Cornell University) and fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
