New American Cancer Society Grant Program

Apply for funding to address SDoH-linked barriers at the grassroots level

The conditions in which people are born, grow, live, work, and age – or Social Drivers of Health (SDoH) – have a profound effect on the chances of detecting and surviving cancer. The ACS is launching the Addressing Barriers to Care (ABC) grant program to address a wider range of SDoH-linked barriers at the grassroots level. Starting with a pilot this year (April 2024-March 2025), ABC grants will support community-based organizations and their partners to deliver non-medical programs and services that address health-related social needs of cancer patients and their caregivers.
