Be Sure to Register to Learn How to Get the Most Out of Your Membership 

New to either the ACS NCCRT or the ACS NCCRT Annual Meeting? Or maybe you’ve been a member for years but would like a refresher on what the Roundtable is all about? Then, you won’t want to miss this members-only virtual program on Wednesday, November 5th from 12:00-1:00 PM ET. Join Drs. Steven Itzkowitz and Gloria Coronado, ACS NCCRT Chair and Vice Chair, as they give an overview of the ACS NCCRT, what we do, and how we do it, to help members get the most out of their involvement with the Roundtable. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, network with your peer members, and prepare for this year’s annual meeting if you plan on attending. Members should check their inboxes for their personalized invitation.


2025 ACS NCCRT Annual Meeting Updates 

Registration Rate Increases to $400 on October 18 

We are less than two weeks away from regular registration closing for the 29th ACS NCCRT Annual Meeting of the membership this November 19-21 in Nashville, TN. Spots will be filling fast as rates rise to $400 on Friday, October 17 at 11:59 PM ET. Secure your regular registration rate of $350 by registering today! 

The Hotel Room Block is Filling Up  

Be sure to reserve your room within our block at the Doubletree by Hilton Nashville and secure the $204 rate before the room block closes on October 20 or as soon as it’s full. Opportunity to Promote Your Work  
ACS NCCRT member attendees are invited to promote an upcoming no-cost event or recently released (2025) resource that is directly relevant to CRC. To participate, please prepare a single, widescreen PowerPoint slide and submit it through this form by Thursday, October 30. Slides will be shared in a rotating deck during the networking lunch on Thursday, November 20. On slide QR codes are encouraged!

Save the Date: Southeastern CRC Consortium 

The Southeastern CRC Consortium Will Take Place in Charleston, SC Next Year 

The Southeastern CRC Consortium planning committee recently shared a save-the-date for their 10th annual meeting. The 2026 meeting will take place at the Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina from April 29-May 1 and registration will open on December 1, 2025. Stay Up to Date on Upcoming and Recent Education Materials and Events 

  • Last week, we published our latest 2025 ACS NCCRT National Achievement Awardee guest blog from Marshall, a health system in California. Read the blog to learn more about how they reached 83% screened for CRC.  
  • The ACS recently published the recordings and materials for a recent learning collaborative covering CRC mortality and targeted at state cancer coalitions. View the resource in our library.  
  • The ACS National Navigation Roundtable wants to hear from patient navigators and partners through a survey about Principal Illness Navigation (PIN) codes developed by the CMS. Take the survey by Wednesday, October 15.   
  • The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is seeking public comment on a national coverage determination for non-invasive biomarker screening tests for CRC among Medicare beneficiaries, including multi-target stool RNA (mt-sRNA) tests. Comments must be submitted by October 10.

Navigating the Complexities in Blood Cancer Diagnosis and Care Across Varying Community Cancer Care Programs 

Brought to you by the ACS Hematologic Cancer Collaborative, this three-part webinar series will explore the complexities of diagnosing and initiating treatment for blood cancers in diverse community cancer care settings. Participants will learn to identify system-level barriers, navigate resource constraints, and apply practical tools and case study insights to improve care delivery and patient outcomes. The first session takes place on October 29, 11:30-12:30 ET, and is designed for clinicians and care teams at community cancer care programs of all sizes and capacities
