Last Chance: Register for Tomorrow’s Member’s Only Blue Star Conversation

This Blue Star Conversation Explores the Outcome of a Recent Supreme Court Case and No-Cost Screenings

It’s your last chance to register to join fellow ACS NCCRT members tomorrow, Wednesday, July 9, from 1:00-2:00 PM ET for the latest ACS NCCRT Blue Star Conversation, titled “2025 Supreme Court Case Update: How Braidwood v. Kennedy Could Affect Insurance Coverage for CRC Screening.” The program will feature a non-partisan panel discussion of policy experts who will discuss the implications of the recently announced Braidwood v. Kennedy Supreme Court decision. The case examined the authority of the United States Preventative Services Task Force (USPSTF) to set provisions for most privately insured (and those covered by Medicaid expansion) people to receive preventative care without cost-sharing, including CRC screening. After background presentations and a panel, participants will have an opportunity to ask questions about the implications of the case and outcome, including what comes next.

Registration is open to ACS NCCRT members only. Members should check their emails for their personalized registration link.

New Resource: CRC Testing Videos from the ACS

The Videos Can Be Used in Clinical or Community Settings to Educate Patients

The ACS recently released a suite of six educational YouTube videos for partners to use to educate community members about the types of tests for CRC screening. The videos, which are available in English and Spanish, describe colonoscopy, Fecal Immunochemical Tests (FITs), and stool DNA-FITs and how a patient would use them, including prep. They are available on the ACS YouTube channel and now in our resource library under “American Cancer Society Colorectal Cancer Resources for Patients and Clinicians”.

Many thanks for the great work you do!
